Chasrah E. Barnes
Chasrah has seventeen years experience as a natural hair stylist. She earned her cosmetology license in 2005 and became a Sisterlocks® Master Stylist in 2007. She is the second generation owner of Personal Affects Inc., originally established in 1986 by her mother, Master Cosmetologist, Educator and Sisterlocks® Trainer, Roxanne Ray.
Chasrah is passionate about highly textered hair, free from harmful chemicals and extensions. As a Sisterlocks Retightening Specialist, she specializes in Sisterlocks and Brotherlocks and does not use extensions. If texture altering chemicals are necessary, they are used in a very limited manner and are only of the highest quality.
In addition to styling and maintaining natural hair, Chasrah’s mission is to educate her clients and other professionals with classes such as “Daddy Knows Hair Care” for clients and “Consulting for Sisterlocks ® Consultants” for professionals. She is based in the Columbus, Oh area but also travels to New York City and Houston, TX for hair care appointments and seminars.
